“Custom glass jewelry to inspire and enhance your appearance with color and beauty”
Sandy Herrera sells a variety of fused glass creations at art shows, events, private shows, and teaches glass fusing out of her home studio. Her creations have gained notoriety and was one of four North West glass artists featured in the North West me and Garden Magazine for August 2009.
Sandy has been a jewelry artist for over 30 years. For the last ten years she has concentrated her time on Dichroic Glass jewelry and artwork, the fusing of warm glass in a kiln.
Dichroic is defined as the property of having more than one color, especially when viewed from different angles. This glass is manufactured by depositing thin layers of metal oxides on glass and processing it in a vacuum chamber.
Blending her beading techniques and dichroic glass, she has created beautiful glass jewelry you will cherish forever. Whether you choose her jewelry for yourself, or as a gift, she hopes you will fall in love with dichroic glass as much as she has in working with this art form.
Her product line covers a broad area all within the medium of kiln formed glass including: necklaces, pendants, bracelets, earrings, buttons and watch bands, bowls, and coasters. Some jewelry items are one of a kind.
Classes are available at her home glass studio.
