DANCIN' THINGS

Dancin' Things sells affordable belly dance clothing, jewelry, drums, and accessories at shows and events or private shows. We do not have a storefront so our savings from not having overhead costs are passed on to you! We are members of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a non-profit educational society dedicated to the recreation of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, and we are dedicated to serving belly dancers as well as drummers. Some of our products include harem pants, skirts, choli tops, beaded tops, hip scarfs, and coin belts. We also have heavy beaded outfits and handmade tribal belts of different styles that are one-of-a-kind. The style of clothing ranges from tribal to cabaret.

The drums we sell are djembes. Cultures from around the world use drumming to unify their communities. A drum circle anywhere brings people together by using each person's uniqueness to create something that belongs to all of us. It's educational and healthy, releases negative emotions, provides joy, and opens creative expression. And most of all, it's a lot of fun to play the drums. Anyone can participate, from kids to seniors. We smile, we play, we dance, we laugh, we learn, and have fun together. No hand drumming experience is needed. You're going to love it!

One thing I learned from taking the class at Enterprise for Equity was that the song "Dream the Impossible Dream" was not impossible and is no longer a dream. I was given the faith that I can do it as long as I was willing to try and not to be afraid. The support system we had during our class was awesome. My new dream is to expand and go to other places and states with our merchandise. This too is not going to be impossible. The smile I put on others' faces is returned to me with twice as much pleasure knowing I am serving people's needs.
