Phil Owen

Phil brings 21 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. He has founded and co-founded numerous programs as well as a nonprofit organization that he directed for 11 years.

A graduate of Enterprise for Equity’s Business Planning Program, Phil is currently planning a business to help small nonprofits build capacity and expand outcomes (when he’s not at the office or out causing mischief with his friends).

Having been low-income for most of his life, as well as having experienced homelessness as a teenager, Phil is passionate about supporting people as they work through adversity and reach for their dreams. He started working for Enterprise for Equity in October 2023 and is excited to bring his experience to our work!
