Diksha Berebitsky
Diksha is a German native born and raised in Cologne. She moved to Colorado in 2001 where she married her husband, Jerry and had their first born son Yuri in 2005. They have been living since 2006 in Olympia, WA where their daughter Celena was born in 2008. Both of these were natural home births with the support of a doula and it was after the birth of her two children that she discovered her true calling as a birth professional.
Beginning in 1996 she studied Rebalancing Massage, Shiatsu, Multidimensional Bodywork and became a Reiki Master. She has over 10 years of experience as a massage therapist which can be a huge benefit for supporting moms and their family during labor. Diksha is a Certified Doula through both Doulas of North America (DONA) and a Certified Holistic Doula from The Matrona. She has pursued additional training as a Certified Placenta Specialist, Certified Lactation & Breastfeeding Educator, and Certified Instructor of Infant Massage.
Professional integrity and holistic support throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding is at the core of Diksha’s practice and she is committed to developing a personal relationship based on trust, comfort, and familiarity with each unique family’s birth plan.

I became aware of how much time I spend with my clients and what would be a appropriate $$ amount to charge for my services to make my doula business a more sustainable business. Overhead, time management, and goal setting were also huge for me. Since completion of this training I doubled my clients and I reached far beyond my goals of 2011 and 2012. Because of this I was able to invest into more continuing education; this allowed me to graduate recently as a Certified Lactation and Breastfeeding Educator, and also to attend two Conferences and an Advanced Doula Training in 2011.
