ABOUT

This program is designed to give participants an opportunity to participate with components of our core programs and build competencies along the way. Because so many people now are having to patch together income from many different sources, Enterprise for Equity has developed a program that combines the best material from our three core education and training components (Money 101, Dependable Strengths, and Business Planning) to create this unique strengths-based Reach Your Dreams program. Reach Your Dreams has been taught at libraries, youth centers, community colleges, social service agencies, and in prisons.

Participants range from young adult to older adult, low and fixed income to middle income earners.

Topics covered in this program include:  

Money 101

A values-based financial goal-setting section includes developing a budget and spending plan, banking/credit union services, insurance tips, identity protection, buying a first home, building and repairing credit and much more;  

Dependable Strengths®

The most effective method known for uncovering hidden strengths, unlocking potential, finding meaningful work, and increasing career and life satisfaction; and, 

Self-Employment/Gig Work

Explores ways in increase income through side jobs/self-employment or potentially business ownership.
